How to produce extruded aluminum profiles ?
The aluminum profile extrusion process actually starts from the product design. The product design is based on the given use requirements, which determine many final parameters of the product. The performance of aluminum profiles extruded from the same aluminum profile depends on the design shape of the product, which determines the shape of the extrusion mold.
Then use the material aluminum rod, first heat it to soften it, and then put it into the ingot cylinder of the extruder, and then push the extrusion rod by a high-power hydraulic cylinder. There is an extrusion pad at the front end, so that the heated and softened aluminum alloy is extruded from the precision molding hole of the mold under the strong pressure of the extrusion pad. This is the role of the mold, the shape of the product required for production.
In fact, the extrusion process is similar to squeezing toothpaste. When the pressure acts on the closed end of the toothpaste, the cylindrical toothpaste is squeezed out from the circular opening. If the opening is square, the extruded toothpaste is a square shape.

1. Less processing: because aluminum alloy can be extruded into any complex shape. Therefore, as long as the design is reasonable, extruded aluminum alloy profiles can also be easily assembled, thus reducing the need for machining. Some shapes can only be obtained by extrusion, but not by other processes.
2. Low cost extrusion die: compared with rolling, casting, forging process, the cost of aluminum extrusion die is lower.
3. Light weight: extruded aluminum alloy profiles are light weight, strong and durable. Due to the performance difference between aluminum and other competing materials, the weight of aluminum structure with the same effect is about half of that of other metal structures, while other metals are not easy to process.
